About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Brisbane team.
n
This is an opportunity to take a leading role in the delivery of a diverse portfolio of energy projects, working closely with clients, multidisciplinary teams, contractors and suppliers to achieve safe, successful and commercially sound project outcomes.
n
The opportunity allows the right candidate to directly contribute to the establishment of a key contract and management of that contract to support the growth of the Northern Region.
n
The successful candidate will bring strong project and contract management experience, with the ability to lead projects from planning and execution through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Management of a forming key contract support the strategic growth of the business
n
Lead and manage projects throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring safety, quality, cost and schedule objectives are achieved
n
Develop and maintain effective project execution, planning and delivery strategies
n
Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources and risk
n
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
n
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and interfaces
n
Manage contractors, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure contractual and project requirements are met
n




Monitor project performance and implement appropriate corrective actions where requiredIdentify, manage and mitigate project risks and opportunities
n
Oversee project commercial and contractual obligations, including variations and performance
n
Provide clear and effective project reporting to clients and internal management
n
Promote a solid HSE culture and ensure project activities comply with relevant requirements
n

About You
n
n
***** years' experience in project management within the energy, resources, engineering or related sectors
n
Demonstrated experience in establishing, planning and managing projects and/or portfolios from initiation through to completion
n
Strong and proven contract and commercial management experience
n
Recognised Engineering or related technical qualification
n
Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary project teams and complex stakeholder interfaces
n
Strong and proven understanding of project management methodologies and structured project delivery to support successful outcomes
n
Strong understanding of HSEQ obligations in successful project delivery
n
Strong commercial, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
n
Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
n
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes inWhat We Offer a project environment
