The Role
n An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Technical Director from Systems Engineering & Integration to join a growing specialist team delivering complex rail and infrastructure projects across Queensland. Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Leading Systems Engineering and Integration activities on major projects
n
Developing Systems Integration strategies, plans and roadmaps
n
Providing technical leadership across integration, testing and commissioning
n




Developing operational readiness frameworks and supporting trial operations
n
Leading systems assurance, verification and validation activities
n
Developing operational, maintenance and test concepts
n
Supporting project testing strategies, sequencing and commissioning priorities
n
Working across multidisciplinary teams and supporting business development
n
Providing technical leadership, mentoring and knowledge sharing across the wider team
n
n
The Requirements
n
n
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering
n
Significant experience delivering large, complex projects
n
Demonstrated experience integrating complex systems from subsystem level through to end-to-end operational integration
n
Strong understanding of systems assurance, safety, V&V;, testing and commissioning
n
Experience in rail systems integration is highly desirable
n
Knowledge of CBTC and/or ETCS is highly advantageous
n
Experience with IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management would be beneficial
n
