Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Finance Officer/Specialist to support operations at Melbourne Airport. As Finance
Officer/Specialist,
you will deliver accurate and timely financial processing across invoicing, receipting, revenue reconciliations and debtor management, supporting strong controls and key deadlines.

What you will do?
n
n
Process and reconcile weekly site revenue, maintaining accurate balance sheet and accounts receivable reconciliations
n
Prepare, issue and reconcile customer invoices, manage receipting and debtor accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
n
Monitor aged receivables, follow up overdue payments and **escalate high-risk accounts as required**
n
Conduct supplier and customer account reconciliations and investigate variances through to resolution
n
Assist with monthly financial reporting while maintaining audit-ready documentation and compliance with internal policies and external standards
n




Partner with operations and the finance team to improve processes, communicate updates clearly, and meet business deadlines
n

More about you
n
n
Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
n
Experience in accounts receivable and end-to-end invoicing and collections
n
Familiarity with financial systems and POS platforms, with hospitality or events experience desirable
n
Strong attention to detail, initiative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
n
Solid financial acumen and clear communication skills with both internal teams and external stakeholders
n
High level of confidentiality and aligns with Delaware North values and behaviours
