ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a
Permanent
position on
42-hour per week, day shift / night shift roster
, at our Boddington Bauxite Mine reporting to the Supervisor Maintenance.
Please note that accommodation is not provided on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out to site on a daily basis.
Employees ideally live within an hour's drive of Boddington.
As the
Technician Maintenance Auto Electrical L1
, you will be responsible for safely executing auto electrical maintenance activities on mobile mining equipment, ensuring assets remain reliable, available and maintained in line with work schedules, standards and maintenance processes.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
Complete planned and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with work instructions and maintenance schedules.
Record accurate maintenance history and transactional data within SAP to support effective asset management.
Contribute to equipment reliability improvements through fault finding, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing work practices, identifying opportunities for improvement and maintaining high-quality maintenance standards.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
Performing maintenance and fault-finding activities on heavy mobile equipment within mining, resources or industrial environments.
Working collaboratively with operations, planning and maintenance teams to achieve shared outcomes.
Diagnosing equipment issues and applying practical problem-solving skills to support reliable asset performance.
Managing competing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and attention to detail.
Using maintenance management systems and digital tools to capture accurate work history and asset information.
Communicating effectively, building positive working relationships and contributing to an inclusive team setting.

Qualifications for this position are:
Successful completion of an Automotive Electrical Apprenticeship and holds a nationally recognized trade certification
Demonstrated written and oral English language proficiency
Heavy mobile equipment maintenance experience, particularly Caterpillar, Komatsu or Hitachi fleets.
Proficiency with CAT SIS and CAT ET systems.
HR licence and relevant high-risk licences, including forklift, EWP, dogging, rigging, crane and working at height
