The successful applicant will:
Provide a commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children and young people
Support the Catholic identity and values of St Mary's Primary School
Deliver engaging learning using plans provided by the classroom teacher
Create safe, positive and inclusive learning environments
Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive behaviour expectations
Support students with diverse learning and wellbeing needs
Work collaboratively with Learning Support Officers and school staff
Communicate professionally and provide clear feedback to classroom teachers
Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility and a solid commitment to child safety
Special Requirements
Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
Current Mandatory Reporting training
Current First Aid,
Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications (desirable)
Demonstrated commitment to Child Safe Standards and the safeguarding of children
Willingness to work flexibly across Foundation to Year 6 and specialist programs based on school needs
Experience teaching in primary school settings and supporting students with diverse learning needs (desirable)
