Outreach Case Manager - Family Violence

Tradewind Australia is recruiting an experienced Outreach Case Manager to join a specialist Family Violence service supporting Aboriginal women and their children across Melbourne's Western Region.
This is an Aboriginal Identified position, providing an opportunity to work within a culturally safe and community-focused workplace supporting Aboriginal women and children experiencing family violence.
About the Role
The Outreach Case Manager will provide specialist family violence and housing case management, support and advocacy to Aboriginal women and their children.
You will:
Deliver holistic, strengths-based case management
Conduct family violence risk assessments and safety planning
Develop and review case plans and exit plans
Support women to access safe and secure housing
Provide court support and advocacy
Undertake community outreach
Facilitate referrals and connect clients with appropriate services
Maintain accurate case notes and contribute to program reporting
About You
You will ideally have:
Aboriginality to meet the requirements of this Identified position
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience in family violence or social services
Strong understanding of family violence and its impacts on Aboriginal women and children
A culturally safe, trauma-informed and client-centred approach
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
Full Victorian Driver's Licence
Ability to obtain a WWCC and Police Check
Experience in a similar family violence support role and familiarity with SHIP and SAAP-funded program reporting would be advantageous, but are not essential.
