Position available
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Administrator to join our team on a FULL-TIME basis at Pure Craft Constructions.
In this role, you will work closely with our project managers and site teams to manage contract documentation, oversee procurement processes, and ensure compliance with project timelines and budgetary requirements.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic construction environment and shares our commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability.
While prior experience in construction administration is preferred, we welcome candidates with strong organisational skills and a willingness to learn—training will be provided to the right applicant.
Responsibilities
Review and negotiate subcontractor and supplier contracts, ensuring full alignment with project specifications, company policies, and relevant Australian construction laws and regulations
Assess and verify insurance requirements for all project stakeholders, safeguarding the company against potential risks and liabilities
Prepare, submit, and track contract variations, working closely with project managers to manage cost impacts and maintain accurate project budgets
Maintain a comprehensive and organised contract documentation system, ensuring all records, approvals, and correspondence are up-to-date and easily accessible
Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related enquiries, proactively resolving disputes or issues in collaboration with site teams and external parties
Monitor on-site contractor performance, review progress against work orders, and report on any deviations or changes to scope promptly
Oversee the full contract lifecycle, including renewals, extensions, and terminations, ensuring seamless continuity across all project phases
Prepare and present regular contract status reports and organisational submissions, supporting informed decision-making by senior management
Requirements
At least three years of full-time (38 hours per week) experience as a contract administrator
Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply
