Production Forklift Driver
Our client is seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and motivated Production Forklift Driver to join their manufacturing operation based in Virginia, SA.
This hands-on role is ideal for an experienced forklift operator who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring materials are supplied to machinery, finished products are moved efficiently, and production runs smoothly throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently within a manufacturing environment.
Ensure materials and products are moved to the correct locations to support daily operations.
Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting stock as required.
Accurately check products, labels, and documentation before moving goods.
Support production and warehouse teams to maintain a smooth workflow.
Assist with stock control activities, including inventory checks and stocktakes.
Maintain clean, organised, and safe work areas.
Assist with general production, warehouse, and housekeeping duties as required.
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.
Follow all workplace health, safety, quality, and company procedures.
About You
A current
LF Forklift License
.
Previous forklift experience within a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to assist with general production and housekeeping duties.
Experience with stock control systems or SAP is advantageous but not essential.
Full Australian working rights.
Working Hours
As part of a seasonal industry, working hours will vary depending on customer orders, production requirements, and fresh produce demand.
During the busy summer season, shifts may increase to
up to 12 hours per day
, with start times as early as
6:00am
and finish times extending to
6:00pm
.
Overtime and weekend work may be required during peak production periods.
Flexibility to work varying hours is essential.
