Stafflink Workforce Management is a Queensland-based recruitment specialist providing temporary and permanent staffing solutions across a wide range of blue and white-collar industries.
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver / Yard Hand to join our client's busy operation.
This is a full-time opportunity for someone who is physically fit, safety-focused and able to work independently.
The successful candidate will initially commence through Stafflink Workforce Management, with the potential to transition to a permanent position directly with the client for the right person.
About the Role
This is a hand-on position suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy yard and warehouse environment and is confident managing their workload with minimal supervision.
Hours:
Early start at approximately 5:00am
Finish around 2:30pm - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday
Overtime may be required from time to time
Key Responsibilities
Unloading and checking incoming deliveries
Safely loading and unloading trucks
Wrapping completed jobs and preparing them for dispatch
Moving stock and materials between two factory locations
Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
General yard and warehouse duties
Heavy lifting and manual handling
Maintaining a clean,
organised and protected work environment
Working independently and managing daily tasks
Following workplace health and safety procedures
Assisting the team to meet deadlines and production requirements
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
Current Forklift Licence - essential
Current Manual Driver's Licence - essential
Previous forklift, yard or warehouse experience
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding work
Ability to work independently and self-manage
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Good communication skills
Willingness to work overtime when required
