Greencross Vets Noarlunga is looking for an experienced and people-focused Practice Manager to join our team.
n
We're open to both part-time and full-time applicants, with a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week. For the right candidate, a full-time role can be tailored to include a combination of practice management responsibilities alongside nursing and/or reception shifts, providing valuable hands-on support to the team while staying connected to the day-to-day operation of the clinic.

About the Role
n
As Practice Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the team while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.
n
This position can be structured as either:
n
n
Part-time Practice Management (minimum 30 hours per week)
n
Full time Practice Management, incorporating management responsibilities alongside nursing and/or reception shifts to support the wider team.
n
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Leading and supporting the nursing and reception teams
n
Creating and maintaining a positive, engaged workplace culture
n
Managing rostering, workflow,



and team coordination
n
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and team development
n
Monitoring clinic performance and key business metrics
n
Supporting client service excellence and patient care standards
n
Managing stock control and inventory processes
n
Ensuring clinic compliance and operational standards are maintained
n
Working closely with the Vet Director and regional leadership team
n
Driving team engagement, retention, and professional development
n
Identifying opportunities to improve clinic operations and efficiency
n
Providing hands-on nursing or reception support where required (for full-time applicants)
n
n

About You
n
We're looking for someone who:
n
n
Has previous Practice Management, Head Nurse, or veterinary leadership experience
n
Has experience leading and developing teams
n
Possesses strong organisational and communication skills
n
Is confident managing competing priorities in a busy environment
n
Has a strong understanding of client service excellence
n
Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and professionalism
n
Is passionate about supporting and developing people
n
Has strong business and operational skills
n
Thrives in a team-oriented team environment
n
Has experience with veterinary practice management systems such as RxWorks (advantageous but not essential)
n
Veterinary industry experience is highly desirable and will highly regarded.
n
