EnerMech is seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Superintendent – Assets to join our team in Henderson. This hands-on leadership role will lead and coordinate load out operations, asset readiness, maintenance scheduling, and operational support to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant delivery across major projects.

About the Role
n
Reporting into the Central Support Group Manager, you will play a key role in supporting project delivery, maintaining equipment availability, improving asset utilization, and leading a safety-first culture. You will act as a central coordination point between operations, projects, logistics, maintenance, facilities, and external service providers.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and coordinate load out planning, mobilization, demobilization, and back loading activities to meet project requirements.
n
Ensure all equipment is inspected, certified, maintained,
and deployment-ready in line with company and client standards.
n
Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and monitor asset availability, reliability, and utilisation.
n
Maintain accurate asset information, maintenance records, registers, tagging, and location tracking across company systems.
n
Support asset lifecycle decisions, including repair, replacement, upgrade and disposal recommendations based on condition, utilisation, cost and operational requirements.
n
Lead and supervise operational personnel, including resource allocation, work prioritisation, coaching, performance management and team development.
n
Act as the key point of contact between operations, projects, logistics, maintenance, facilities, vendors, and service providers.
n
Prepare operational, utilisation, maintenance, and asset performance updates for stakeholders and management.
n
Ensure all operational activities comply with HSE procedures, regulatory requirements, certification obligations, and company standards.
n
Identify opportunities to improve load out efficiency, reduce costs, strengthen safety performance, and optimise equipment utilisation.
n
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant mechanical trade qualification (Diesel Mechanic highly regarded).
n
Significant experience in operations, asset maintenance supervision, logistics coordination, workshop management, project engineering, or project management within pipeline, process, industrial services, or related industries.
n
Strong understanding of asset management, maintenance scheduling, equipment readiness, and operational coordination.
n
Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to supervise teams, allocate priorities, and promote a collaborative work environment.
n
Strong safety awareness and sound knowledge of HSE requirements, quality systems, and compliance standards.
n
Excellent communication, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
n
Experience with maintenance or asset management systems, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reporting.
n
Knowledge of equipment such as compressors, nitrogen equipment, pipeline and process services equipment, industrial cleaning equipment, or similar assets will be highly regarded.
n
Strong cost awareness, continuous improvement mindset, and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
