Are you a technically strong leader with a passion for improving systems, teams, and decision‐making? We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to guide a team of 4-5 engineers in delivering high‐traffic, customer‐facing web experiences at scale. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a critical web platform, shape its technical direction, and drive meaningful improvements in performance, architecture, and engineering effectiveness.

Responsibilities
n
As an Engineering Team Lead, you will:
n
n
Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4-5 engineers.
n
Own the technical direction of a high‐traffic web platform.
n
Improve Core Web Vitals, SEO, latency, and overall web performance.
n
Drive better engineering velocity and remove technical blockers.
n
Lead architecture and system design discussions.
n
Enhance technical standards, code quality, and engineering practices.
n
Manage technical debt and cross‐team dependencies.
n
Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams.
n
Help the team make pragmatic technical trade‐offs.
n
Communicate technical risks, options, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
n

Qualifications
n
To excel in this role, you should have:
n
n
Proven experience as an Engineering Team Lead, Technical Lead, Lead Software Engineer, or hands‐on Engineering Manager.
n
Strong expertise in:n
n
React.js
n




Next.js
n
Server‐Side Rendering
n
Core Web Vitals
n
Web performance and scalability
n
High‐traffic customer‐facing platforms
n
System design and architecture
n
APIs and distributed services
n
Cloud platforms (AWS)
n
n
Direct experience in people leadership and team development.
n
A track record of partnering with Product and Design teams.
n
n
Additional experience with GraphQL, micro‐frontends, modern application security, and AI coding tools is highly desirable.
