Temora SS Pty Ltd, a busy Indian restaurant, is seeking an experienced Cook to join our Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner service kitchen team.

About the role

Annual salary package: $80,000 per annum
n
Overtime paid for any hours worked beyond the standard roster, where required Duties.
n
Prepare, cook and present a range of Indian dishes to a consistent standard
n
Plan menu items in consultation with kitchen management
n
Prepare and cook Indian dishes, sauces, entrées and mains for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner service
n
Estimate food requirements and assist with ordering of kitchen supplies
n
Monitor food stocks and rotate perishable items
n
Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety and workplace safety standards
n




Supervise and coordinate other kitchen staff during Breakfast, Lunch & dinner service as required
n

Skills and experience required
n
n
Trade qualification (Certificate III or higher) in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent relevant experience
n
Prior experience working as a cook in a restaurant environment
n
Sound knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene standards
n
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during service
n
Robust communication and teamwork skills.
