Glenmore Park Early Learning Centre is a brand-new, state-of-the-art 160-place childcare service located in the heart of Glenmore Park.

We are seeking a passionate, experienced and highly capable Centre Director to lead our newly established service. This is an immediate-start opportunity for an experienced leader who is ready to take ownership of a large service, build a strong team culture and drive quality, occupancy and operational performance.

About the Role
n
As Centre Director, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance and day-to-day operation of the service.
n
Your focus will be on creating a positive and high-performing workplace culture,
supporting and developing your team, maintaining strong relationships with children and families, and ensuring the service consistently meets high standards of education, care and compliance.
n
You will be a natural people leader who knows how to inspire, mentor and bring out the best in others. You understand that when educators feel supported, valued and connected, children and families flourish.
n
Working closely with the Administration Coordinator, Area Manager and Approved Provider, you will take ownership of:
n
n
Leading, mentoring and developing educators and the leadership team
n
Maintaining strong compliance with the National Law, National Regulations, NQS and service policies
n
Driving continuous improvement and supporting the development and implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan
n
Building positive and lasting relationships with children, families and the local community
n
Driving occupancy growth through strong enquiry management, enrolment conversion and family retention
n
Proactively managing vacancies and supporting local marketing and community engagement initiatives
n
Monitoring staffing levels, rosters and labour costs
n
Managing centre budgets and supporting strong financial and operational performance
n
Ensuring effective enrolment, administration and CCS processes
n
Creating a welcoming, professional and high-quality service where children, families and educators are proud to belong

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
ACECQA-approved Diploma or Early Childhood Teaching qualification
n
Proven experience as a Centre Director, Nominated Supervisor or senior leader within Early Childhood Education and Care
n
Strong people leadership skills, with demonstrated experience developing, mentoring and managing high-performing teams
n
Demonstrated experience achieving occupancy and enrolment targets, including enquiry conversion, family retention and proactive vacancy management
n
Strong commercial understanding, including experience managing centre budgets, labour costs and operational performance
n
Comprehensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS), National Law and National Regulations
n
Demonstrated experience developing, implementing and reviewing a Quality Improvement Plan
n
Strong understanding of childcare compliance, CCS and service administration
n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
Strong organisational, computer and administrative skills
n
A current Working with Children Check
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Child Protection, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
n
