Workplace Rehabilitation Physiotherapist Western Brisbane | 9-day fortnight | $85,000 – $100,000 + super | Full-time If your physiotherapy experience is grounded in musculoskeletal care and you're interested in what happens outside the clinic , this could be a role worth considering.
We're recruiting for a Workplace Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to join an established occupational health and workplace rehabilitation team supporting employees across a range of blue-collar environments throughout western and inner Brisbane.
This is a role where your clinical knowledge is applied in the workplace — assessing how people move, understanding the physical demands of their roles, managing injuries and helping employees return to safe and sustainable work.
The role You'll work across multiple workplace sites, generally visiting two sites per day , with the flexibility to work across the western Brisbane corridor through to the inner-north industrial areas.
The role is entirely workplace-based and focused on adult workers and occupational rehabilitation .
There is no paediatric caseload and no traditional high-volume private practice setup.
Your work will include: Providing onsite physiotherapy assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for workplace injuries and musculoskeletal conditions Conducting functional and physical assessments within the worker's actual work workplace Supporting early intervention and injury management Developing practical rehabilitation and return-to-work strategies Assessing work tasks, physical demands and functional capacity Providing advice around suitable duties and safe work participation Identifying injury risks and contributing to workplace injury prevention initiatives Working alongside employers,

injury management teams and other health professionals where appropriate Maintaining accurate clinical and rehabilitation documentation Managing your own schedule across multiple workplace locations The organisation has a strong focus on evidence-based physiotherapy, early intervention, injury prevention and sustainable return-to-work outcomes , with services delivered directly within workplaces rather than relying solely on traditional clinic-based care.
What makes this role different?
You won't be treating people in a consulting room all day.
You'll see the worker in the environment where their injury or physical demands actually occur.
That means understanding manual handling requirements, observing work tasks, considering functional capacity and translating your clinical recommendations into something practical for the worker and employer.
The broader team includes physiotherapists, occupational health professionals and psychologists, with the organisation operating across Australia in occupational health, injury prevention, rehabilitation and wellbeing.
What you'll bring Minimum 2 years' physiotherapy experience Current AHPRA registration Strong musculoskeletal assessment and treatment skills An interest in, or experience with,

workplace rehabilitation / occupational health Confidence working independently across different workplace environments Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills Ability to adapt your approach to different workers, job demands and industries Full Australian working rights A current Australian driver's licence and reliable access to a vehicle, as travel between sites is required Experience in occupational rehabilitation, workers compensation, functional capacity assessment, injury management or return-to-work programs would be highly regarded.
The practical details Full-time position 9-day fortnight Approximately 2 workplace sites per day Flexible coverage across western Brisbane through to inner Brisbane Flexible work-from-home options Built-in administration time Kilometres between workplace sites paid No company vehicle provided $85,000 – $100,000 + superannuation , depending on experience The organisation has been operating in occupational health since **** and has developed a national workplace health and rehabilitation presence.
Its Brisbane services include onsite physiotherapy, early intervention, injury prevention, return-to-work support, workplace assessments and occupational health programs.
Who this could suit This could be a good fit for a physiotherapist who has built a solid MSK foundation and now wants to apply those skills in a more occupational setting.
You might currently be working in private practice, sports/MSK, occupational rehabilitation or another clinical environment and be interested in a role where the focus is less on back-to-back appointments and more on functional rehabilitation, workplace assessment and helping people stay at or return to work .
If you're interested in the role or would like to have a confidential chat about the opportunity, please don't hesitate to reach out to Camille at ****** .
