Work within an established food manufacturing environment Be part of a collaborative Quality team Based in Melbourne's northern suburb A well-established food manufacturing company is looking for a QA Assistant to support its Quality team.
You'll play a hands-on role in maintaining food safety, quality, and compliance standards within a dynamic manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities Perform routine laboratory and quality testing on raw materials and finished products Ensure products comply with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards Maintain accurate QA documentation, records, and reports Investigate quality issues and assist with corrective and preventive actions Liaise with Production, Sanitation, and other departments on quality matters Participate in internal and external audits Support training of operators on Hygiene, GMP, and HACCP Assist with new product development and quality procedure improvements Carry out additional QA-related duties as required About You Essential: Strong hands-on microbiology and laboratory experience within a food manufacturing or quality environment Practical experience performing food quality and compliance testing Good understanding of HACCP, GMP,
