Job description Brisbane | Wacol Full-Time | Permanent Opportunity The Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced Product Assembly/Heavy Engineering All-Rounder to join a growing manufacturing operation based in Wacol, Brisbane .
This is a hands-on role assembling and preparing high-quality earthmoving attachments used across the construction, demolition, quarrying and mining industries.
We're looking for someone who is mechanically minded, can read engineering drawings, has welding and fabrication experience, and takes pride in producing quality work.
Most importantly, you'll be an all-rounder who can think for themselves, solve problems and get the job done.
About the Role You will be responsible for taking fabricated components through to a completed, quality product.
Key responsibilities include: Assemble components into completed earthmoving attachments Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Prepare components ready for welding Fabricate profile components using MIG welding Basic hydraulic assembly and installation Prepare, prime and paint fabricated components Complete quality checks and QA documentation Ensure products meet required specifications and tolerances Work to production schedules and achieve KPIs Assist with stock control, labelling and monthly stocktakes Operate a forklift to move heavy packages and materials Pack and prepare completed products for dispatch Maintain a clean,



protected and organised workshop What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a heavy engineering or manufacturing environment Strong mechanical assembly skills Welding/fabrication experience, particularly MIG Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Basic understanding of hydraulics Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload Ability to work to close tolerances and production deadlines A strong work ethic and "get it done" attitude Forklift experience/licence highly regarded Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office What's on Offer?
