Full Job Description Mental Health Lead Clinician – Regional Victoria Location: Regional Victoria Presented by: Limelight People Department: Community Mental Health Wellbeing Contract: Permanent (Full time or Part-time) About the Role Limelight People are recruiting a Mental Health Lead Clinician to join a friendly and supportive Community Mental Health and Wellbeing team in Regional Victoria.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mental health professional to develop their clinical skills while making a positive impact within the community and working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Working within an integrated community mental health team, and under the direction of the team psychiatrist, manager and senior clinician, you will provide recovery-focused treatment and support to consumers experiencing mental illness throughout all stages of their illness.
The team provides care to adults aged ***** years, supporting consumers within their communities and promoting recovery, wellbeing and independence.

Access to clinical educators and career advisors Dedicated Mental Health Professional Development Unit Supportive multidisciplinary team environment Strong career development and career progression opportunities Flexible working arrangements Roster Working Arrangements Full-time: 80 hours per fortnight with an ADO every 4 weeks Part-time: ***** hours per fortnight Monday to Friday Standard hours: 8:30am–5:00pm Flexible working arrangements available Key Responsibilities Provide recovery-focused treatment and support to consumers experiencing mental illness.
Provide clinical leadership within an integrated multidisciplinary community mental health team.
Undertake mental health assessments and contribute to clinical decision-making.
Develop and review recovery-focused treatment and care plans.
Support consumers throughout different stages of mental illness.
Monitor consumer wellbeing, progress and changing clinical needs.
Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, senior clinicians, managers and multidisciplinary team members.
Build strong relationships with consumers, carers, families and community services.
Promote recovery, independence and community participation.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case reviews and clinical discussions.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Contribute to quality improvement, service development and clinical governance.
Requirements Relevant professional registration and qualifications applicable to the position classification.




Demonstrated experience working within mental health services.
Strong understanding of contemporary, recovery-focused mental health practice.
Demonstrated clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Ability to provide clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to consumer-focused and recovery-oriented care.
