We are looking for an enthusiastic and relationship-focused Allied Health professional to join our Early Childhood Approach (ECA) team, supporting children aged 0–9 years who have developmental concerns, developmental delay or disability, and their families.
At the heart of this role is understanding children and how they develop, building trusting relationships with families, and working alongside them to support meaningful outcomes for their child.
You will work in partnership with children, parents and carers to understand their strengths, priorities and everyday experiences, and use your knowledge of child development to identify appropriate supports and strategies.
You will help families build their confidence and capacity to support their child's development, participation and wellbeing in everyday environments.
The role involves a combination of child development assessment, collaborative planning, family support, report writing and coordination with other professionals and community services.
You will work as part of a collaborative team, drawing on the expertise of different disciplines to provide coordinated and individualised support around the child and family.
You will also build strong relationships with early childhood services, community organisations and other professionals to ensure children and families are connected with the right supports.
About You To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate: Relevant qualifications in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy or Psychology), or another relevant professional field, with appropriate professional registration or membership.




Strong knowledge and understanding of child development, developmental delay and disability, with experience supporting children aged 0–9 and their families.
Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS, Early Childhood Approach (ECA) and family-centred, evidence-based early childhood intervention practice.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships and engage effectively with children, families and people from diverse backgrounds.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with families and stakeholders, building positive partnerships and tailoring support to individual needs, priorities and circumstances.
Demonstrated ability to undertake child development assessments, develop individualised plans and prepare clear, high-quality reports and documentation.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands, meet deadlines and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
