We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the team on a permanent dayshift basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician who enjoys hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting and working within a fast-paced manufacturing workplace.
What's on offer $60 per hour + Super Plenty overtime available Permanent position Dayshift – Monday to Friday 6am-2pm Stable, long-term opportunity with a leading FMCG manufacturer Strong opportunity for career development and progression Work within a modern, high-volume production environment The Role You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical and automated production equipment across the site.
Your responsibilities will include:



Preventative and reactive electrical maintenance Fault finding and troubleshooting production equipment Electrical repairs, installations and modifications PLC and control system troubleshooting Working with sensors, motors, VSDs and automation equipment Supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives Ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently Working closely with the production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime About You We are looking for a qualified electrician with: A-Grade Electrical Licence Previous experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging or other high-volume manufacturing environments Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills Experience with industrial machinery and automated production equipment A proactive approach to preventative maintenance Strong commitment to safety and quality Excellent communication and teamwork skills If you are interested contact Joe Keogh at Blackbook Executive on ************
