The Role We are seeking an experienced Waiter/Sommelier to join our front of house team.
The successful candidate will provide qualified food and beverage service while using their wine knowledge to help guests select wines that complement their meals.

open and serve wine using appropriate professional techniques Maintain a strong understanding of the restaurant's menu and wine list Monitor wine quality, storage conditions and cellar organisation Assist with wine stock control, supplier orders and cellar records Assist with reviewing and updating the restaurant's wine list Train other front of house staff in wine knowledge and service Set and clear tables before, during and after service Process customer accounts and payments Respond professionally to guest questions, requests and concerns Work closely with the kitchen, bar and management teams Follow responsible service of alcohol, food safety and workplace safety requirements About You Hospitality or wine qualification, or equivalent industry experience Previous experience as a Waiter, Sommelier or in a similar food and beverage service role Strong knowledge of Australian and international wines Excellent customer service and communication skills Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter.
