Bajaj Prosperity Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team.
This is a full-time position suited to someone who works well in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in consistently preparing high-quality meals.
Key responsibilities include: Preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards Preparing ingredients, including vegetables, meats, sauces and garnishes Operating cooking equipment safely and efficiently Monitoring food quality, portion sizes and presentation Maintaining appropriate stock levels and assisting with stock rotation Minimising food waste and supporting effective cost control Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen Complying with food safety, workplace health and safety,



and sanitation requirements Working effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members Assisting with the training and supervision of junior kitchen staff where required To be considered, applicants should have: A relevant commercial cookery qualification or equivalent industry experience At least [insert required period] of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen Experience preparing Asian-style dishes, particularly wok-based meals, is desirable Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene requirements The ability to work efficiently under pressure Robust teamwork, communication and time-management skills Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
