The hospital is at the forefront of Rural Generalists training and is the first hospital in Australia to be accredited to train Rural Generalist interns following the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine Training Pathway.
The Location This rustic country town, with a population of 7,287, is a one-hour drive south west of Cairns.
