A leading car dealership is seeking a Service Receptionist to join their team in Footscray.

As Service Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for customers, setting the tone for their experience with the business.

What you'll be doing Greeting customers in a warm and skilled manner upon arrival at the service department Answering and directing phone and email enquiries to appropriate staff members Scheduling service appointments and managing the appointment calendar Processing customer paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently Explaining service options and quotations to customers in a clear and helpful manner Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the reception area Managing customer follow-ups regarding their vehicles Providing information about vehicle maintenance and service options What we're looking for Proven experience in a reception or customer service role, preferably within an automotive environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for customer service Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail Proficiency in using computer systems and office software applications Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy environment Professional telephone etiquette and ability to handle enquiries courteously Knowledge of automotive terminology and service processes is highly desirable A positive, friendly demeanour and team-oriented approach Reliability and punctuality Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions
