Joining our Murrell Freight ServicesInterstate TransportTeam, you will be employed asHeavy Vehicle Truck Driver. This permanent full-time role reports directly to the Transport Manager and involves the following duties and responsibilities:

Safely operate heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport freight to designated locations across interstate routes.
n
Adhere to assigned routes and schedules to guarantee timely delivery and pickup of goods.
n
Assist with the safe and productive loading and unloading of freight, ensuring compliance with load restraint regulations.
n
Maintain accurate documentation, including logbooks and fuel/toll receipts.
n
Conduct daily pre-trip inspections, addressing any concerns before departure.
n
Follow all road safety rules.
n
Collaborate effectively with the transport manager and team members to support our road freight logistics operations.

About You:
n
n
You have a validMC licenseand a clean driving record. HC licenses will be considered.
n
Road train experiencepreferred but not essential.
n
Experience in avariety of freight typesand load restraint systems.
n
Strong time management skills and a thorough knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
n
Experience or ability in operatingon board reporting technology(tablet).
n
Proactive in maintaining vehicle safety and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
n
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
n
A strong focus onsafety and compliancewith NHVAS Mass, Maintenance and Fatigue protocols.
n
Applicants based outside the Illawarra region will be considered depending on location.
