This role will see you leading a small payroll team of 4 while overseeing the delivery of accurate, compliant, and productive payroll services in a high-volume environment.
In this role, you'll take charge of the payroll function, guiding your team to meet deadlines, maintain compliance, and deliver exceptional service to the business.
You'll be hands-on when required, while also focusing on team leadership, reporting, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities: Lead a small payroll team (4 direct reports), providing coaching, support, and regular performance feedback Oversee payroll operations for both Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legislation (approximately **** employees in total) Monitor and interpret awards, enterprise agreements,



and leave entitlements Prepare and review payroll reports, reconciliations, and journal entries for month-end and year-end cycles Partner with internal stakeholders to identify efficiencies and streamline workflows Contribute to payroll-related projects and system enhancements About You Proven experience managing or supervising payroll in a large, multi-site business Strong knowledge of payroll requirements, including award interpretation Skilled in payroll reporting, reconciliations, and problem-solving Familiarity with large payroll systems Confident communicator with a collaborative, hands-on leadership style Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment What's on Offer $120,000 + superannuation + 10% bonus Hybrid work model Work in a modern, supportive, and high-energy environment Click the link below to apply online.
