Health, Safety, Security and Environment Lead HSSE Lead – Bundey - Bundey, South Australia IREN is seeking an experienced HSSE Lead to provide visible, practical and field-based health, safety, security and environmental leadership across our Bundey, project and operations.
Reporting to the HSSE Manager - Australia, you will work closely with site leadership, contractors and workers to ensure risks are effectively managed, compliance obligations are met, and a strong safety culture is embedded across site activities.
About You Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS, or relevant tertiary qualification.
5+ years' HSE experience within construction, energy, utilities, data centres or similar high-risk environments.
Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, contractor management and construction safety.
Experience with inspections, investigations, risk assessments and permit-to-work systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Current Driver's Licence and Construction White Card.
Key Responsibilities Provide daily HSSE support,



coaching and guidance to site teams and contractors.
Conduct inspections, audits, field observations and critical control verifications.
Review SWMS, risk assessments, permits and task planning documentation.
Support incident investigations, hazard reporting and corrective action management.
Coordinate inductions, toolbox talks, emergency drills and consultation activities.
Monitor contractor compliance, environmental controls, site security and housekeeping standards.
