Job Description: Work for one of Australia's leading hospital groups Afternoon shifts Permanent, part time 25 hours per week (5 x 5hrs)
About the Role We are currently seeking a Food Services Assistant (FSA) to join the team on a permanent part time basis to work on the PM shift.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the making and preparing all short order food and drinks (including modified fluids), cleaning and dishwashing patient meal trays.
You will also be responsible for the relevant working area in accordance with the food safety plan and all production schedules and demands
Prepare short order food/beverages as required
Monitor waste management
Ensure kitchen hygiene, Food Safety and cleanliness standards are adhered too, including thorough kitchen cleaning and sanitizing
Inform coordinators of required food stock levels
Prepare sandwiches & salads on weekends
Your Contribution
Food Safety Certificate HLTFSE001
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen
Previous experience in an Aged Care environment (desirable)
A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain
Classifications for this position will range from IN13 - IN14 ($53,284- $60,189 per annum pro rata)
