Maintenance Electricians – Young, NSW Permanent Full-Time Opportunities $49–$57/hr + Overtime Available Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician looking for a long-term opportunity with strong earning potential, job security, and a great team culture?
We are seeking multiple Maintenance Electricians to join a well-established food production facility in Young, NSW .
Working within a modern processing environment, you'll play a critical role in maintaining plant reliability, supporting production uptime, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: Breakdown and preventative maintenance across processing and packaging equipment Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime Maintenance, repair and testing of motors, drives, control systems, sensors and production equipment Diagnosing and resolving PLC, instrumentation and automation-related faults Supporting planned shutdowns, repairs and equipment upgrades Assisting with electrical installations and continuous improvement projects Ensuring all electrical maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with regulatory requirements Working closely with production teams to maximise plant reliability and performance About You To be successful, you will have:



Electrical Trade Qualification and current NSW Electrical Licence Experience in FMCG, food processing, manufacturing, agricultural or industrial environments Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills Experience with motors, VSDs, PLCs, instrumentation and automated production equipment Understanding of electrical drawings, schematics and control circuits Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens or similar PLC systems highly regarded A proactive, hands-on approach to maintenance Solid commitment to safety, quality and teamwork What's on Offer $49–$57 per hour (depending on experience) Overtime opportunities available Permanent full-time employment Long-term career stability and progression Supportive leadership and maintenance team Modern processing facility and equipment Roster – 12-Hour Rotating Shifts 7:00am – 7:00pm 7:00pm – 7:00am Rotating day and night shifts 8-day fortnight roster Weekend work shared across the maintenance team Enjoy excellent work-life balance while maximising your earning potential.
