Internal Expression of Interest for additional hours Nurse Attendant / PSA - Emergency Department 16 Hours per Fortnight | Ongoing Join Our Emergency Department Team Western District Health Service is seeking Expressions of Interest from current employees interested in joining the Emergency Department as a Personal Services Assistant (PSA) .
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a agile and supportive team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
As a PSA, you will play an significant role in supporting patients, clinicians and the broader emergency department team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
About the Role The Personal Services Assistant supports the day-to-day operation of the Emergency Department through a range of non-clinical support functions that contribute to patient care and service delivery.
Duties may include: Maintaining a clean, secure and welcoming environment.
Assisting with food and beverage services.
Transporting patients, equipment and supplies.
Restocking clinical areas and patient spaces.
Supporting patient comfort and care within the scope of the role.
Assisting clinical staff with ward support activities and general departmental operations.

Qualifications Desirable qualifications include: Certificate I in Food Handling.
Certificate III in Health Support Services or equivalent qualification (for Grade 2 PSA roles).
