As a Mining Supervisor, you'll play a key role in leading crews, delivering secure and productive outcomes, and supporting the continued growth of our underground operations.
This opportunity offers genuine variety.
You may work as Shift Boss / Shift Supervisor at our main underground operation,
or across our satellite deposits where you'll be part of a smaller, tight‐knit team and take a more hands‐on approach to leadership.
In these environments, you'll guide your crew, fulfil your statutory responsibilities, and step in where needed to keep operations moving safely and efficiently.
You'll have the opportunity to influence how we operate, mentor developing team members and help build capable, high‐performing crews.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate your crew of up to 15 people to achieve production and development targets using Sandvik development and production fleet
Fulfil Section 26 statutory responsibilities in accordance with legislative requirements
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all underground activities
Monitor and coordinate daily underground mining activities to ensure operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with mining plans, site procedures and legislative requirements
Support, mentor and develop underground operators and team members
Work collaboratively with Technical Services, Maintenance and other key stakeholders
Drive accountability, performance and continuous improvement within your team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
WA Underground Supervisor's Certificate of Competency (Section 26 Statutory Qualification)
Proven experience in a similar underground mining supervisory role
Sound knowledge of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage across all levels
Well-developed organisational skills and a proactive approach
Strong commitment to safety and team performance
Current WA C-Class Driver's Licence
Current Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)
National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
Desirable:
First Aid Certificate
Experience working across multiple underground mining operations or satellite deposits
Experience leading teams in both production and development environments
