The Opportunity
Working within the Marketing & Communications Team and embedded in a cross-functional project team, you will develop and deliver strategic communications, campaigns, content and engagement activities for a neighbourhood development project.
This is a hands-on, community-facing role that combines communications expertise with relationship building and on-the-ground involvement.
You'll work closely with project team members and local stakeholders to build awareness, share stories of impact, support community engagement activities and promote positive outcomes for children and families.
From creating compelling content and coordinating campaigns to attending events and building relationships, you'll play a key role in bringing this project to life.
Key Responsibility Areas
Develop and deliver communication and engagement activities that support project objectives and stakeholder relationships.
WorkwithMarketingand Design tocreate inclusive, accessible content across digital and print channels
Coordinate and support community events, workshops, consultations and stakeholder forums.
Build and maintain strong relationships with community members and partners
Championproject branding andcoordinate development ofpromotional materials
Monitor, evaluate and report on communication, engagement and campaign outcomes.
Develop community engagement activities to ensure communications are aligned, accessible and effective.
You will bring:
Minimum 5 years' experience in communications, marketing, stakeholder engagement or a related field.
Outstanding writing, storytelling and content development skills across a range of channels.
Experience coordinating communications, campaigns, events or engagement activities from planning through to delivery.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A collaborative and adaptable approach, with the ability to work across teams and partner organisations.
A current Victorian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
Flexibility to attend occasional evening and weekend events and activities.
