About the Role
Turium AI is looking for a Graduate Systems Accountant to join our Turium ERP AI team.
This is not a traditional graduate accounting role focused purely on month-end, tax, or compliance.
We're looking for someone with a robust foundation in finance, accounting, business, or information systems who is interested in how technology can improve the way organisations manage finance and operations.
You'll work across finance systems, ERP, data, process improvement, automation, and client delivery, gaining hands‐on exposure to enterprise and government transformation projects.
Working alongside our consulting, product, and engineering teams, you'll help clients improve financial processes, implement and optimise enterprise systems, analyse data, test solutions, and modernise the way their finance functions operate.
What You'll Be Doing
Work with enterprise and government clients to improve finance processes, reporting, and operational workflows
Support ERP implementation, migration, optimisation, and finance transformation projects
Assist with financial system configuration, mapping, data validation, testing, and rollout activities
Analyse budgeting, forecasting, procurement, invoice management, reconciliation, and reporting processes
Support the design and maintenance of finance structures including charts of accounts, entities, ledgers, and cost centres
Build and maintain financial reports, dashboards, reconciliations, and KPI reporting
Gather and document requirements from finance and operational stakeholders
Help identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and AI-enabled workflows
Collaborate with consulting, engineering, product, and delivery teams across ERP and integration projects
Support user acceptance testing, system transition, onboarding, and change activities
Assist with data analysis across finance, projects, portfolios,
and operational reporting
Learn how enterprise systems and different data sources interact to support financial reporting and decision‐making
What We're Looking For
A completed or near‐completed Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business, Business Information Systems, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or another relevant discipline
Graduate to approximately 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, business analysis, ERP systems, consulting, data, or a related area
Foundational understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and general finance operations
An interest in the intersection of finance, technology, data, and business systems
Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial and operational data
Good written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable learning new technologies, systems, and business processes
Ability to work collaboratively across finance, technical, and operational teams
Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn
An interest in ERP systems, digital transformation, process improvement, automation, data analytics, and emerging technologies
Nice to Have
Exposure to ERP or enterprise systems such as SAP, TechnologyOne, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Infor, FinanceOne, or similar through university, internships, or professional experience
University coursework or project experience involving accounting systems, information systems, ERP, business analytics, or data
Understanding of business processes across finance, accounting, procurement, or project delivery
Experience using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and analytics tools
Exposure to data analysis, dashboards, reporting, or performance metrics through academic projects, internships, or employment
Interest in business process improvement, automation, AI, or emerging enterprise technologies
Understanding of how different systems and data sources work together to support reporting and decision‐making
Experience working collaboratively in team‐based environments, including university projects, internships, or professional roles
Why This Role is Different
Build a career combining finance, systems, ERP, data, and consulting
Move beyond traditional accounting into automation, AI, and enterprise technology
Work directly with enterprise and government clients
Gain hands‐on exposure to major ERP and finance transformation programs
Learn from consulting, engineering, product, and finance specialists
Work across real‐world systems implementation and process improvement initiatives
Gain exposure to modern AI-enabled finance and operational technologies
Develop towards future opportunities in Systems Accounting, ERP Consulting, Finance Transformation, Business Analysis, or Enterprise Technology
