About the opportunity

Join Palantir Consulting and work alongside experienced engineers on challenging structural projects across NSW.
n
You will have the opportunity to develop deep technical capability in the design and modelling of mid to high-rise buildings, concrete structures and post-tensioned structures, while receiving direct guidance from our senior engineering team, Partners and Founder.
n

Your focus will include
n
n
Structural design and modelling of mid to high-rise buildings in NSW
n
Reinforced concrete and post-tensioned concrete structures
n
Multi-storey residential developments
n
Industrial and warehouse structures
n
Structural analysis, calculations and engineering documentation
n
Developing practical and buildable engineering solutions
n
Working closely with senior engineers on technically challenging projects
n




Continuously improving your engineering judgement, modelling capability and design efficiency
n
n
Qualifications and experience
n
We are looking for candidates with:
n
n
Full Australian working rights
n
A recognised Structural or Civil Engineering degree
n
2+ years of Australian structural consulting or design experience
n
Experience with multi-storey residential, commercial, industrial or warehouse projects
n
Exposure to post-tensioned concrete design
n
Solid analytical and problem-solving ability
n
A solid understanding of Australian Standards and structural engineering practice
n
Experience with relevant engineering software such as RAM Concept, SpaceGass, Microstran, RAPT, WALLAP, ETABS, RCB and Revit
n
n
You do not need to be an expert in every software package listed above. Strong fundamentals, learning ability and engineering judgement are more important.
n
