Lead the asset management function within a high-profile Commonwealth Government agency.
Your new company This is an opportunity to join a respected Commonwealth Government agency with a unique national presence and a long-standing contribution to Australia's economic and cultural landscape.
Operating within a highly specialised manufacturing environment, the organisation is responsible for the production and stewardship of nationally significant products and assets.
Your current role As the EL1 Lead Asset Manager, you will lead and coordinate the delivery of efficient and timely physical asset management services.
You will oversee asset management processes, practices and systems to support the organisation's strategic objectives and drive value across the asset lifecycle.
You will be responsible for maintaining the asset register and lifecycle plans within the Computerised Maintenance Management System, monitoring asset performance and risk, and coordinating condition monitoring and diagnostic activities.
You will also oversee technical documentation and the integration of data between the CMMS and Enterprise Resource Planning system to support accurate performance reporting.Key responsibilities will include:Lead asset management policies, processes, procedures and system improvementsDevelop lifecycle plans covering maintenance, upgrades, renewal, replacement and disposalMaintain accurate asset data, reporting and system integration across key platformsMonitor asset performance, condition, reliability,



valuation and riskProvide insights to stakeholders and ensure new assets meet operational, maintenance and safety requirementsWhat you'll need to succeedExperience in asset lifecycle planning, critical asset management and programmed servicing schedules, ideally aligned with ISO *****Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, preferably MainpacExperience in configuration management and technical data managementAn understanding of Systems Engineering principles, Quality Management Systems, WHS requirements and risk assessmentsStrong prioritisation skills and the ability to manage competing work concurrentlyExcellent negotiation, influencing, communication and stakeholder liaison capabilitiesThe ability to apply risk-focused and data-driven decision-makingQualifications in a relevant engineering discipline, reliability engineering or asset management are highly desirable.What you'll get in returnLead a critical asset management function within a prominent Commonwealth Government agencyContribute to strategic asset planning, performance improvement and sustainable asset management practicesWork across a diverse and highly specialised operational asset portfolioPlay a key role in improving asset reliability, lifecycle planning and data-driven decision-makingInitial 6-month labour hire contract commencing September ****, with possible extension optionsBased centrally in CanberraAttractive hourly rate $80 - $100 p/h + super depending on experience
