JLL is a global leader in helping clients envision where people live, work, play, shop, and eat.What this opportunity involvesThe Event Planner is a key role within Salesforce's facilities and events management team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of events held at Salesforce specialty locations.
This position requires a strategic thinker with strong operational skills to ensure the successful planning, execution, and evaluation of a diverse range of events, from intimate team meetings to large-scale conferences and product launches.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning and Coordination: Oversee the end-to-end planning process for all specialty eventsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and requirementsDevelop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocationCoordinate with various departments (IT, Security, Catering, etc.) to ensure all event needs are metManage relationships with external vendors and service providersOperational Management:



Ensure compliance with safety regulations, capacity limits, and campus policiesBudget and Resource Management: Develop and manage event budgetsTrack expenses and prepare financial reportsOptimize resource allocation across multiple eventsIdentify cost‐saving opportunities without compromising event qualityClient and Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external event clientsConduct pre‐event consultations to understand client needs and expectationsProvide regular updates to stakeholders throughout the event planning processGather and analyse post‐event feedback for continuous improvementTechnology Integration: Leverage Salesforce platforms for event management and reportingEnsure seamless integration of technology for virtual and hybrid event componentsStay updated on event technology trends and recommend innovative solutionsTeam Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of event coordinators and on‐site staffDevelop training programs to enhance team skills and knowledgeFoster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the events teamSustainability and Corporate Responsibility: Implement sustainable event practices aligned with Salesforce's environmental goalsEnsure events reflect Salesforce's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusionIncorporate corporate social responsibility initiatives into event planning when appropriateSounds like you?
This is what we're looking forBachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field5+ years of experience in event management,
