and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives.
Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.Are You the One?
Proven fabrication and welding industry experience with minimum 5 years post-trade qualification experience and current industry currencySound knowledge of the MEM Training Package, current fabrication industry trends, continuous improvement practices, and underpinning technical knowledgeStrong practical expertise in MIG, TIG, Arc and Gas Welding, fabrication, workshop practices, and heavy fabrication environmentsTrade qualified to at least Certificate III, with Certificate IV qualifications viewed favourablyCertificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE*****) or higher and demonstrated experience delivering adult educationWelding certifications highly regarded, including Welder Certifications and Welding Supervisor Certifications (AS****, AS**** and/or ISO ******)What You Need to KnowA valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.Please refer to the Role Description for all Special Conditions.
