About The RoleBased at Maules Creek Mine, there are multiple opportunities to join a team and grow in a supportive environment.
You will work on a fleet of mining equipment, including CAT and Hitachi machinery, ensuring all maintenance is completed safely, efficiently and in line with statutory and site standards.Working within the maintenance team, this role is responsible for the scheduled servicing,



diagnostics and repairs on a variety of Heavy Mining Equipment.What You'll DoPerform preventative and unplanned maintenance on mobile mining equipment and infastructureWork effectively across workshop and team environmentsDemonstrate visible protected working practices and a commitment to safety in the workplaceWork with minimal supervision & carry out assigned work ordersWhat You'll BringProficiency Certificate in an electrical tradeSupervisor Certificate or Contractors Licence issued by Fair Trading NSW or mutual recognised equivalent interstate electrical licenceExperience in mining or heavy industry or processing plantStrong problem solving, diagnostic and fault finding skillsWhy Whitehaven Coal?
