Category Specialist – Software ProcurementCategory Specialist role within the Global Software Category under the Technology Procurement PortfolioJoin our Global Procurement teamBrisbane basedPermanent full-time opportunityAbout your roleAs the Category Specialist – Software, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the Global Software category strategy.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technology procurement professional.
You will enjoy collaborating with a range of stakeholders to influence and manage a broad portfolio of software procurement activities.
You have a passion for innovation and can speak the language of today's technology landscape.Reporting to the Principal Advisor Software you will:Support the Principal Advisor in managing the software category including fact base development, strategy development, strategy implementation, contract implementation and contract/supplier managementDeliver strategic software sourcing projectsBuild and manage effective relationships with a broad range of internal stakeholdersProvide commercial leadership and guidance to broader organization in relation to the categoryBuild and grow relationships with category suppliers to drive innovation and value through effective relationship management programsCollaborate with other areas of the broader technology procurement team who support the categoryAbout youTo be successfully considered for this role, you will have:Experience in a Technology Procurement capacityDemonstrated experience driving successful commercial outcomesAbility to manage competing prioritiesStrong stakeholder engagement,
