Our values – care, courage and curiosity – guide how we work and how we treat each other.About the roleWe are looking for Superintendent Maintenance HEQ to play a critical role in supporting a team to maintain Northern Operations Heavy Equipment fleet to meet our safety, production and operational efficiency targets whilst delivering continuous improvement.
This role is responsible for leading the execution of maintenance plans and asset management strategies to maximise equipment availability, reliability and operational performance.
Working closely with operational, technical and planning teams, you will ensure maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with business objectives.What you'll be doingReporting to the Manager Northern Operations and working in a rewarding and exciting environment, you will be:Leading and developing a team of Maintenance Supervisors and asset management professionalsOverseeing the planning, organisation and execution of maintenance activities across the operationDriving safe work practices, training, compliance and workforce capability developmentOptimising the utilisation of labour, equipment and resources through effective maintenance planningDeveloping and managing maintenance budgets and operating plans to deliver value and cost efficiencyImproving equipment reliability and asset performance through effective asset management practicesCollaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve operational and business objectivesIdentifying workforce requirements and leading recruitment,

processing facilities, shiploaders, an export wharf, two ports, power stations, a rail network and ferry terminals.Amrun, our newest mine, was completed in **** and will extend our Weipa bauxite operations by decades, significantly building on our 55-year history on the Western Cape, and providing jobs and supporting business growth in the region.
The mine is located on traditional land.
