About the role

Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Port Adelaide site, we are seeking multiple Operators / Pickers who will be responsible for general yard hand labouring duties and picking and sorting of scrap metal from the conveyor.
n
What you will be doing
n
n
Pick and sort scrap metals from conveyor belt
n
Remove contaminants to maintain the quality of materials
n
Monitor the conveyor belt speed and functionality
n
Notify maintenance or supervisors of any mechanical issues
n
Adhere to workplace safety procedures
n
Maintain cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
n
n
Hours
n
9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday plus overtime as required during the week and on Saturdays
n
Pay rate
n
$***** per hour plus super
n

Ability to learn how to quickly and accurately identify different types of metal

Experience in scrap recycling, construction or manufacturing, advantageous

Ability to work in a fast-paced yard workplace
