Want your chance to make a mark on a world-class international event? We are looking for a talented Site Operations Supervisor to join our Event Operations Team and play a key role in delivering the United Cup Sydney **** . This is a full-time maximum-term contract from 9 November **** to 29 January **** .
n
As this is a seasonal event role, we require full availability and flexibility across the tournament build, event delivery and bump-out periods, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required .

About the role
n
n
Supervising the delivery of event overlay and temporary infrastructure across designated venue work zones during bump-in, tournament operations and bump-out.
n
Coordinating contractors, suppliers, logistics and site crews to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.
n
Monitoring site progress, conducting inspections and quality assurance checks, and providing regular updates to the Event Operations team .
n
Managing stakeholder and supplier relationships onsite while communicating site procedures, restrictions and operational updates.
n
Promoting a safe working environment by identifying risks, enforcing health and safety requirements and supporting compliance activities across the venue.
n

About you
n
n
Have experience working in major events, venue operations, logistics , overlay, construction, maintenance or related operational environments.
n
Demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams and suppliers.
n
Be highly organised, detail- oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
n
Bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
n
Have strong computer literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools.
n
Hold a White Card (Construction Induction Card) or equivalent, or be able to obtain one prior to commencement.
n
Current Forklift Licence desirable but not essential.
n
Be prepared to be adaptable in regard to working h ours and arrangements relating to work associated with tournament delivery.
