At Tennis Australia (TA) plans are underway to deliver our summer of tennis for ****!
We are looking for a Safety Officer to join our team until mid - January ****.About the roleReporting to the Manager Safety, Compliance and Emergency Management, the Safety Officer will:Assist in the delivery of the contractor InductionUndertake incident investigations and incident reportingComplete hazard and risk identification, classification, and control in an event management & construction environmentMonitor, audit and implement site specific safety management systems and performanceConduct safety assessments with staff including developing Secure Work Method Statements and Manual Handling Risk AssessmentsMonitor and audit contractor's safety systemsImplement safety procedures, monitor safety performance, and undertake safety reportingWhat you will bring to the roleAbility to work in a energetic environment with a range of contractors and service providersAbility to provide quality administrative services in a busy environment following established systems and proceduresTournament knowledge and event management experience is desirableOH&S; Certificate IV or higher is desirableWarden training desirableCurrent Level 2 First Aid CertificateMinimum 2 years' experience in the events industry desirableKnowledge and previous experience in OH&S; in the events industryKnowledge and understanding of OH&S; principles and legislationsWhat's in it for you?
