and the opportunity to work across a broad range of high-profile Class 2 and commercial projects.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIESInspect waterproofing works across Class 2 and commercial buildings, including bathrooms, balconies, rooftops, podiums and basementsConduct desktop reviews of waterproofing design for Class 2 developments prior to constructionAssess compliance against drawings, specifications, manufacturer requirements, Australian Standards and the NCCPrepare clear inspection notes, photographic records and reports, with practical recommendations for rectificationLiaise with builders, contractors and consultants, and attend site meetings to provide technical inputSKILLS & EXPERIENCEMinimum 5 years' practical experience in construction waterproofingStrong understanding of Class 2 buildings and multi-residential constructionSound knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and the National Construction CodeAbility to identify poor workmanship and non-compliant waterproofing worksCurrent White Card and driver's licence
