Trainer & Assessor in Community ServicesWork Savvy is seeking experienced RTO Trainer & Assessor for Community Services to join our team on a contract basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality vocational training and assessment online and work based for the following qualifications;CHC***** Certificate III in Community ServicesCHC***** Certificate IV in Community ServicesKey responsibilitiesEngage with Online, Workbased and Traineeship students and their employers/supervisorsMentor and communicate with students and their employers/supervisors via a variety of methods; Teams/Zoom, Phone, Email and workplace visits where applicableAssess student knowledge, skills, and competencies against nationally recognised training standards.Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support student learning and progress.Monitor student participation, engagement, and performance in online learning environments.Maintain accurate and timely records of student attendance, assessment outcomes, and progress.Support students in achieving learning goals, including providing additional guidance or resources where required.Ensure compliance with RTO policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ASQA, Standards for RTOs, Funding Contracts).
Develop and maintain positive relationships with students,



colleagues, and industry stakeholders.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including reviewing course content and assessment tools.Participate in career development to maintain current knowledge of industry practices and training methods.What we're looking forVocational competency and currency with aminimum of 3-5 years of industry experienceMandatory -Candidates must have specific industry experience to demonstrate industry currency within the last12 months.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****) or its successorStrong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and support students from diverse backgroundsAbility to work independently and as part of a team to contribute to the continuous improvement of training programsExcellent time management and organisational skills to juggle competing prioritiesYour own ABN & InsurancesYou will need a clear Police Check and WWCCIf you're an experienced RTO Trainer & Assessor looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.All successful candidates will be required to complete a Trainer Profile and provide PD and Industry currency.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
