OverviewWarehouse OperativeNorthampton, NN7 2QA (near junction 15 of the M1)We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm.

you'll have access to plenty of training and development designed to help you progress and achieve your career goals.The RoleAs a Warehouse Operative, you will support the smooth day-to-day running of our Northampton warehouse.Specifically, you will perform a variety of tasks and general duties, including the operation of MHE to support operations, working with a strong focus on H&S.You; will safely load and unload trailers, handling goods correctly to ensure minimal damage, complete any relevant paperwork, and utilise MHE and automation systems.Additional responsibilitiesAdhere to all H&S; procedures and utilise PPEComplete equipment checks and any risk assessmentsSeek ways to improve processes and drive efficiencyCommunicate any concerns or issues to your team leader or managerAbout YouPrevious warehouse experienceAn FLT, counterbalance, reach truck, or pallet stacker licence (A2)Good levels of literacy and numeracyAn awareness of manual handling techniquesTeamworking skillsThe ability to work to tight deadlines within a fast-paced environmentAttention to detailA good level of general education, including a good understanding of both written and verbal EnglishWe thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those under consideration will be contacted.Please note, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.Yusen Logistics is an equal opportunities employer.
