You will join a dedicated cardiology team committed to delivering secure, compassionate and evidence based care.Work within a up-to-date, well equipped acute care hospitalBe part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary cardiology teamAccess ongoing learning and career development opportunitiesExperience a culture that values respect, inclusion and teamworkContribute to improving outcomes for a diverse communityWhat you'll be doingIn this role, you will provide high quality, person centred nursing care to cardiology patients, ensuring optimal health outcomes through clinical excellence and teamwork.Deliver safe, effective and individualised patient careAssess, monitor and respond to changes in patient conditionCoordinate discharge planning and appropriate referralsSupervise and support junior staff and studentsAdvocate for patients and families while managing care prioritiesRegistration:



Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Selection CriteriaDemonstrated recent nursing experience relevant to the position and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practiceDemonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to patient careDemonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing careDemonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means,; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.People with disabilities who meet the selection criteria are encouraged to apply; and where required, WSLHD will implement reasonable adjustment consistent with industry standard.Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
