The Yardman role is responsible for loading, unloading, organizing and maintaining the yard.Job DescriptionReporting directly to the Branch Manager, the key responsibilities of this role as however are not limited to the following:Loading/Unloading using a forklift and moving freight and materials throughout the yard into trucks,



containers etc.Organising the yard and incoming and outbound of freight and trucks coming into the depotMaintaining high safety standards and adhering to load restraint guidelines.General maintenance of the yardProviding support to the wider team as requiredDesired Skills and ExperienceThe desired candidate will obtain the below skills and experience:Solid experience loading and unloading trucksExperience within the transport industry or demonstrated experience in a similar roleAbility to manage workload, meet deadlines and be highly organizedA proactive attitude, a high degree of initiative and a positive approachIs a Team Player and sees the value in supporting their peers wherever possibleReliable and always punctualPlease not this is a casual position working Monday to Friday, however there is potential for the role to allow for additional hours and permanency in the future.In return, CRE is offering a competitive remuneration package growth within the business.
