Working in a sheltered environment, you'll play a key role in the refurbishment, maintenance and preparation of transportable buildings.
This position is ideal for someone with a construction, carpentry, trade assistant or building maintenance background who enjoys hands‐on work and takes pride in delivering quality results.Key responsibilities include:Assisting tradespeople with repairs, maintenance and refurbishmentsRe-sheeting walls, repairing door frames and completing general building worksOperating hand and power toolsCleaning,



pressure washing and preparing buildings for deliveryGeneral workshop and yard dutiesForklift operation (if licensed)Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environmentWhat you'll need to succeedPrevious experience in construction, trades assisting, carpentry or building maintenanceStrong experience using hand and power toolsCurrent Driver's Licence and reliable transportPositive attitude and willingness to learnStrong work ethic and reliabilityAbility to work effectively within a team environmentContactable work referencesMust be living locally in MackayWhat you'll get in returnThis is more than just another labouring role.
