The Job RoleWe are currently looking for experienced Automotive Technicians / Motor Mechanics and Diesel Mechanics to join our team working on a range of vehicles - Audi, Holden, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mitsubishi, Skoda, Toyota and Volkswagen.
We have several workshops located across Metropolitan Sydney and our workshops in Wyoming and Wollongong.We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to join our team.

You'll work in our state of the art workshop diagnosing and repairing our customers' vehicles.
It's important that you are capable of completing work to a high standard while at the same time maintaining an efficient work ethic.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCarry out vehicle repairs and/or maintenance as per repair order to vehicle, manufacturer and dealership requirements and report to Workshop Foreman/Controller of any delays or inability to achieve the required outcomeEnsure all work is carried out to the highest of quality at all times, in line with dealer and manufacture guidelines and standard repair time where possibleBe familiar with, and maintain knowledge of manufacturer literature,



Technical Service and Warranty bulletins and repair procedures as outlined on TOPIxTo have a valuable understanding of current vehicle mechanical systems including electrical, transmission and safety control systemsEnsure accurate clocking for each job line on repair order - including retail, warranty and internalMaintain a sound knowledge of all dealership products and servicesQualifications & RequirementsCurrent trade qualifications as a motor mechanics / diesel mechanicThe ability to work in a teamExcellent communication skillsStrong technical and diagnostic skillsExperience with one or more of our brands will be highly regardedSalaryWe offer great benefits and rewards to our employees:A competitive remuneration package - $65,000 to $85,000 (commensurate with skill set and experience.)Ongoing manufacturer trainingA supportive and friendly work environmentState of the art service centre and diagnostic equipmentAbout the CompanyThe Alto Group is a family owned and operated organization with over 400 employees, which has been serving the motoring needs of the local community for over 60 Years.
